End to End is the True-Life story of a 3 week/275 mile backpacking travel in the Green Mountains of Vermont. With her two beloved dogs as her only companions, the writer walked from Canada to Massachusetts, in the travel of a lifetime.

This is a beautiful story so they can engage the reader with its poignancy, honesty and humor as the writer struggles with the physical challenges of the hike in addition to the bigger issues of love, life and commitment.
In 2016, at the age of 58, the writer drove 3,500 miles across the country, leaving her job, husband and 6 furry dog/kids at their home in California. With two dogs as hiking companions she hiked from one end of Vermont to the other, a 275 mile trek on the Long Trail, down the spine of the Green Mountains. And then she came home: renewed, revitalized and empowered to live life on her own terms. This is her story. This is a story about being a late middle aged woman facing the reality that her years of good health and easy mobility are foreseeably finite, a story about traveling 7000 miles with 2 dogs as constant and wonderful companions and about appreciating the gift of their implausible friendship and what they brought to the journey, and about understanding the terms of their commitment to one another. It’s a story about processing the deaths- and the lives- of her parents, and of honoring them by reclaiming her own life. Lastly, it is a love story too, of course.
