Description

After moving across the country, with nothing to lose, Caprice Rydell makes a wish and flips a coin into a fountain. A second later, she changes her mind, and Cap retrieves the quarter. Her life does turn out to be. Just for starters, she learns her father is a bigamist, and it is straight downhill from there. If that news being revealed on national tv isn’t embarrassing enough, it all happens in front of Mill Crocker, the captain of the school polo team and the most gorgeous guy Cap has ever seen.
Cap is convinced she got the fallacious coin and somebody else’s wish.
Mill thinks she’s adorable but wishing is not reality. She has what she says she wanted.
What Cap needs is to reset her life back to normal again by getting that coin in her cold, wet hand. Nighttime. Center of town. No person will probably be there. Flashlight. Wellies. Yeah. That’ll work.

Note: Before Caprice Rydell returned to Newbury, Connecticut and arrived at Bittersweet Farm, that is how she met Mill Crocker.
