This exhibition includes a shocking vary of objects associated with the pony in Chinese art drawn from the collections from many museums within the Shaanxi province. It includes bronze fittings, chariots, swords, and gold embellishes from the Western and Eastern Zhou dynasties, earthern wares from the Qin dynasty, and a lot of Tang, Yuan and Ming glazed terracotta sculptures. The essays speak about the evolution of horse breeding and decoration all through Chinese dynastic history.
